Training Courses for Foundation Certificate and Club Coach

We have over the last year trained and upgraded 15 coaches at level one and two. Working in small groups around the county is begining to benifit us all as we learn and support each other.

There is in my view a need to constantly refresh our thinking by meeting and sharing methods. Often we need to be reminded that the simple approach is the best.

With the increased use of the internet through our laptops we can access material written by experienced coaches around the world. One that I highly reccommend is www.robjudson.com an Australian coach who has an ebook that you can download for free it is excellent

Coaches' Seminar at Darlington this year and next

This was very successful with coaches from all the counties except Lancashire attending. We spent the day on video clinics and an Open Forum. It was felt that we should have all our meetings in this central venue next year. I will apply for funding to cover the cost of travel and refreshments. Perhaps we could look at Squad work and training sets next year.

Under 13s Skills day is planned for Sunday 31st May at Driffield BC

 

 

 

Coaching for the Ladies U31 'Amy Rose' Team is to be held at Driffield BC on 31st May and 7th June.
